Hello my friends. Welcome to Sage’s Sanctum. It has been a while. Solace and I do this website as a hobby, as a spiritual exercise. We want to cultivate a space where everyone is able to pursue their spiritual path however that manifests for them. We offer advice and a listening ear if someone asks it of us. But that doesn’t mean we can devote as much time to it as we want.
I haven’t posted a blog in a while, though it isn’t because I am not on my path, walking it, and wanting to engage in the spiritual projects I feel drawn to. In fact I have made strides in my own personal path. Wisdom and understanding is growing. My own recognition of my spiritual power and purpose is deepening. I had an extremely meaningful ritual interaction with my goddess last week. Nehalennia is a goddess of travelers and protection, for me she is also a mentor and teacher. I sought her protection for my family as all of us were traveling recently to see distant family. I made offerings and felt her presence during the ritual. She responded to my requests and gave her blessings.
But again that doesn’t mean I have all the time I want to devote to my spiritual studies and my path. I have a day job that has been taking an inordinate amount of my time, energy, and attention. This is why I haven’t blogged in a while. Put it did put me in the head space to have a realization that I needed.
My path is always waiting for me, the wayfarer’s hearth is always waiting. Life gets in the way, the needs always overshadow the wants. So I want to encourage you to give yourself some grace. I believe a seeker exists in all of us. We all seek the divine, or seek meaning, or seek to better ourselves and the world. Yet sometimes the world makes that so difficult to do, we just have to put it down.
But it is always there waiting for us. Life has ebbs and flows and just because you may feel distant and disconnected from your spiritual path doesn’t mean it is gone. It doesn’t mean that you have to start over from the beginning. When we pause and put it down it stays right where it is waiting for us to come and take up the path again. I am starting to feel more connected to mine again as we enter fall. My earnest hope is that you realize you can pick up your path whenever you feel disconnected from it.
If you do feel like you have to step away, or you are being forced to step away from walking your path. Remember you are always welcome here to find your way back to it. Remember here we love all of our visitors, and I hope to see you back and resting again at the wayfarer’s hearth.
