My tarot reading for today is interesting. I decided to do it after the Elder Futhark Rune that I pulled today was Thurisaz and I wrote a post on FateArc about it. Before I started the blog post here, I was prepared to continue discussing Thurisaz, but something told me that I should do my tarot for the day. And after having that thought, it was impossible to ignore. I wanted to see what the cards had for me today.
Again, five card spread with past, present, future, obstacle, and resolution. And I'm once again baffled.
My past is upside down Ganglati. Right side up, he represents tardiness and lethargy. Upside down, however, he indicates that the past that is impacting me today is one where I was eager and on time or early to show that eagerness.
My present is upside down Vidar. Right side up, he is the berserker or the warrior. Upside down, he is the passivist or watcher, which represents a general lack of willingness to fight.
My future is right side up Frey. Spring and New Beginnings are what she represents. This representation is that something new and fresh is on the horizon.
My obstacle was Thor, the representative of strength, fertility, and protection. I can admit that today I am feeling very weak. I'm feeling vulnerable and I'm struggling with how to handle that.
And my resolution is Modgud. I'm adding an AI generated image that explains her more. She is the guardian of the bridge that passes between life and death. She's often associated with mediumship, ancestor communication, spirit journeys, sacred boundaries, and protection during spiritual work.
So on this spread, for me, I'm taking it that my past of eagerness is part of my conflict with my present. I lack the willingness to fight for myself. And there may be a new beginning on the horizon, but strength stands between me and that new beginning. With the resolution being the guardian between worlds, in order to overcome the obstacle of possessing strength, I must rely on discernment and the influence of my ancestors.
And that is what is new in the Divine Dokter realm. Very interesting insights to be sure.
