It is the start of our first full week of July. Monday, July 6, 2026 brings us an Elder Futhark Rune that promises good things! The Elder Futhark Rune of the Day is Fehu. It means "Cattle" and it promises richness. Perhaps more in love and relationships than in monetary value.
This rune pulling today is a good omen. It's pointing to the idea that the rest of July may be bringing wealth (money or love), abundance (having everything you need), prosperity (contentedness), nourishment (physical and spiritual), opportunity (to pursue what you want), energy (the ability to go after what you want), exchange (giving and taking), and gratitude (walking through life with a thankful spirit).
Fehu is plentiful and promises growth in ways expected and unexpected. Much as people used to turn to the wise people of their community to try and predict what the weather would be for a season (Farmer's Almanac), or what plants they should plant, or whether they should expand or shrink, today is telling you to seek the wealth you desire.
If it's love, this is begging you to take the riches you already have and if you can, multiply it. Whether with adding people to your life or a literal new life, today is the day to pursue it, make moves, and be prepared to reap that which you sow.
If it's career, a new opportunity may present itself today. Or, conversely, a decision to move on to better pastures is also a chance to move forward. Free yourself from a career that has little to offer to you and seek a new job. Pursue the promotion, pursue the new job, follow your heart towards the chances you could take today and the benefits you could achieve from such a move.
If it's spiritual, open yourself to the energy of those around you or in nature. Be ready to be overwhelmed and walk away with a new understanding, perspective, or purpose. Signs will be plentiful if you look for them. And they will be clear. You need only reach today and it will be yours for the taking.
Regardless of what brought you to this blog today, the universe is telling you that you have more wealth than you know. And if it's difficult to see the wealth, reach out and you'll be surprised to see how much is out there for your taking. Believe in the worthiness of yourself to be blessed beyond imagining. Because you are worthy of the wealth that Fehu promises today.
